CD34 is a glycosylated transmembrane protein and represents a well-known marker for primitive blood- and bone marrow-derived progenitor cells. CD34+ stem cells are multipotent and can give rise to all cell types in blood. Additionally, CD34 cells are responsible for all lymphohematopoietic lineages even though they comprise only a small percentage of the cell population. First Choice Bio’s CD34+ cells are isolated using positive immuno-magnetic cell separation procedures. All human cord blood is collected in CPD from fully consented donors. Single donor product, mixed donors upon request.
