0.3 Million cells / vial. Basophils normally make up approximately 0.5 to 3 percent of the peripheral blood leukocytes. Basophils contain histamine and serotonin and are an active part of the inflammatory response. First Choice Bio’s Healthy Human Donor Basophils are isolated from peripheral blood mono-nuclear cells by indirect immuno-magnetic selection. All peripheral blood is collected in ACDA by Leukapheresis from fully consented donors that tested negative for HIV, HBV, and HCV.
